Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Reviel Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation with offices in Orlando, Florida. They govern your use of the Reviel mobile application and any related services we provide.

By creating an account or using Reviel, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Reviel.

2. Who can use Reviel

You must be at least 18 years old to use Reviel. By using it you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

Reviel is currently available only to people located in the United States. We do not offer the service elsewhere and our infrastructure is located in the United States.

3. What Reviel is, and what it is not

Reviel is a self-guided tool for moments of stress and overwhelm. It offers a space to describe what you are experiencing, practices that may help you regulate, and the option to reach a person you choose.

Reviel uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. AI systems can produce information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate to your situation. You should use your own judgment about anything Reviel tells you and should not rely on it as fact or as advice.

We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using Reviel.

4. Emergencies and crisis

Reviel is not an emergency service. It is not monitored in real time and no one is on the other end waiting to respond.

If you are in immediate danger, or you are thinking about harming yourself or someone else, contact emergency services or a crisis line right away. In the United States you can call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or call 911.

Reviel includes crisis resources that are always available and are never placed behind a subscription or a payment screen. Those resources are provided for convenience and do not create any duty on our part to monitor, respond to, or intervene in your situation.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account.

• Provide accurate information when you register and keep it current.
• Do not share your account with anyone else.
• Tell us at info@reviel.app if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

6. Subscriptions, trials and billing

Reviel is a paid subscription. Subscriptions are sold and billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by us directly.

Automatic renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your store account is charged at the then-current price for the plan you selected.

Introductory offers

Introductory offers are available once per person and are governed by the rules of the app store you purchased through. Eligibility is determined by the store, not by us. If you have previously used an introductory offer for Reviel, you may not be eligible for another.

Cancelling

You can cancel at any time through your Apple or Google account settings. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

Refunds

Because purchases are processed by Apple and Google, refunds are handled under their policies and at their discretion. We cannot issue refunds for store purchases directly. You can request one through the store where you bought your subscription.

Price changes

We may change our prices. If we do, the new price will not apply to your current billing period, and the app store will notify you and seek your consent where its rules require.

7. Reaching other people through Reviel

Reviel includes a feature that lets you contact people you choose, such as a friend, a chaplain, or a therapist.

• You decide who to add and what to send them. We do not select them for you and we do not vet them.
• We are not responsible for what any of these people say or do, or for their availability.
• Anyone you contact this way sees only what you choose to send. They do not have access to your sessions or your history.
• If you contact a licensed professional through Reviel, your relationship with that professional is between you and them. We are not a party to it.

8. Connected health and other services

You may choose to connect Reviel to services such as Apple Health, Google Fit, Whoop, Oura, Fitbit, your calendar, or a music service. These connections are optional, they are off unless you turn them on, and you can revoke any of them at any time.

We use data from these services only to help Reviel understand your patterns and anticipate difficult periods. We never use it for advertising or marketing, we never sell it, and we never share it with third parties for their own purposes.

9. What you may not do

Do not:

• Use Reviel for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass, or impersonate anyone
• Try to access another person's account or any part of our systems you are not authorised to reach
• Reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, or attempt to extract the underlying models or data
• Use automated tools to access the service, or resell or redistribute it
• Upload anything containing malware or designed to interfere with the service
• Present Reviel's output as clinical advice to anyone else

10. Your content

What you write in Reviel is yours. We do not claim ownership of it.

You grant us a limited licence to process, store, and transmit your content solely to operate the service for you. That licence ends when the content is deleted. We do not use your conversations to train foundation models and we do not sell your content to anyone.

How long we keep things and where it is stored is described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Our content

Reviel, including the software, design, and brand, belongs to Reviel Technologies, Inc. and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own personal use for as long as your subscription is active.

12. Disclaimers

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that any content it generates will be accurate or suitable for your situation.

13. Limitation of liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO REVIEL WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

14. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reviel Technologies, Inc. from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the service or your violation of these Terms or of any law.

15. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Reviel and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, or if we need to for legal or security reasons.

If we end your access without cause, we will refund any prepaid amount covering the period after termination where we are able to.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Reviel after that means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction.

18. Apple and Google

If you downloaded Reviel from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that these Terms are between you and Reviel Technologies, Inc. only, not with Apple, and that Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support for Reviel. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

Similar terms apply to Google Play where you downloaded Reviel from that store.
